Full descriptions of nearly 270 major jobs from the Occupational Outlook Handbook. Updated every two years by the US Department of Labor, the OOH provides detailed, easy-to-read descriptions of major jobs covering about 90 percent of the workforce.
The most recent facts from the Occupational Information Network (O*NET) database, regularly updated by the Department of Labor, are used to describe approximately 750 more-specialized jobs related to the OOH jobs.
The Dictionary of Occupational Titles, another Department of Labor reference, is a source for a huge variety of very specific job titles. Brief descriptions for nearly 5,100 DOT jobs related to the OOH job titles are included.
